Quiet River
Quiet River (2012) - oil on panel. A study in reflective light along a water's edge. I built it through long studio days and patient looking, letting color settle into memory rather than chase motion. The piece invites quiet contemplation and a sense of memory entering the room.
Weaving Light
Weaving Light (2016) - mixed media textile and paint on board. Fabric and pigment interact as if listening to one another, creating a tactile surface that speaks about belonging and boundary. For me, texture is language, and this piece threads disparate moods into a single surface.

I work slowly, letting time be a collaborator. Each piece begins with a quiet spark and ends with a surface you can live with. Here's how I move from idea to finished work, and how I share it with you with transparency, care, and a respect for materials and memory.

A quiet observation—light, texture, or memory—triggers a concept. I translate that into a plan and jot notes about color, edge, and mood. Provenance begins here: where the idea comes from, honestly and simply.

In the studio I choose materials and test forms, letting textures and colors speak. I iterate slowly, watching how pigment sits on the surface, how fabric reads in light, and how scale lives in a room. I keep process notes and provenance records as I go.

The piece takes shape through careful layering, drawing, stitching, or shaping until the surface feels true. I assess size, medium, and condition to decide how to present and price.
